It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Elise DeWitt Horres (Hampton, South Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Eddie DeWitt and Corrie Sauls DeWitt; her husband Aubrey Smith Horres; and her siblings, Anita Ellis, Gloria Priester, Patsy Lafontaine, Sonny DeWitt and Wiley DeWitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Horres of Augusta, Terri Wright of Warner Robins and Elisa Cummings (Mark) of Warner Robins; her siblings, Barbara Cook (Robert) of Beaufort, S. C. and David DeWitt (Jan) of North Charleston, S. C.; and her grandchildren, Jason Morrison of Warner Robins, Chandler Cummings (Kim) of Lawrenceville, Brittany Pratt (Marshall) of Warner Robins, Shelby Harsson (Skylar) of Strawberry Plains and Tenn.
The family asks that donations be made in Joyce's memory to Affinity Hospice 1024 Berkeley Hall Blvd. Bluffton, SC 29909.
