She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucas Henry Sauls and Mary Lou Reavis Sauls; her husband Steve Barton Long; her brothers, James Henry Sauls and Dan Sauls; and her nephew Eddie Long.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Nell Godwin of Beaufort; her friend Marvin Murdaugh of Hampton; and her nieces and nephews, Sandy, Larry and Susan. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, 4 great-great nieces and nephews.
