He is survived by: his wife Elise Smith Long of Nixville; his daughter Melanie Widmer (Chris) of Covington, Georgia; his brothers, David Long of Estill and Clayton Long (Ellen) of Estill; and his grandchildren, Chandler, Clifford and Connor.
