He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Heape and Tilla Barnes Heape; and his sister Rosa Mae Loper. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Ann Kinard Heape of Brunson; his son William Heape of Hampton; his grandson Justin W. Heape of Hampton; and his niece Mae Kinard (Carl) of Brunson.
