He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilbur Freeman, Sr. and Hautie Cook Freeman Rivers; and his siblings, Raymond Freeman, Martha Ann Jenny and Linda F. Thigpen.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Brown Freeman of Hampton; his children, Mike Freeman (Debra) of Hampton and Tami Freeman Harvey (Joe) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Erin Long (Rett) of Hampton, Matthew Walker (Brandi) of Grays and Kayla Freeman (Megan) of Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Rich Long, Maddox Long, Ryder Dean, Mavryh Dean, Lizzy Jo Freeman, Gage Smiley, Carter Smiley, Charlee Kinard and Carter Kinard; his sister Jackie Matthews of Pooler, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Dot Freeman of Hampton and Bobby Thigpen of Summerville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
