He was predeceased by: his parents, Tobey Freeman and Rodell Crosby Freeman; and his siblings, Sara Freeman Templeton, Jake Chesser, Lil Freeman Youmans, Louise Freeman Hagee, Jacob Bruce "Frog" Freeman and Marvin "Peanut" Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita DeLoach Freeman of Brunson; his children, Janet Chesser (Jerry) of Brunson, Brian K. Freeman, Sr. of Ruffin and Ulice "Trey" Sauls, III (Reagan) of Atlanta; his siblings, Bobby Chesser (Maxine) of Leesville and Verle Harrelson of Lexington; his grandchildren, Christopher Chesser, Christina Chesser, Amber Morgan Freeman, Brian K. "Keith" Freeman, Jr. and Griffin Sauls; and his great grandchildren, Gunner, Remi and Zayna Bridgers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
