He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Heape and Minnie Youmans Heape; and his son Dean Heape. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hamm Heape of Early Branch; and his children, Bryan Heape (Henrietta) of Orlando, Dwayne Heape (Michelle) of Lexington, Deborah Hohmann (Glenn) of Harrah, Brenda Haggard of Orlando and Dawn Mole (Andy) of Early Branch. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
