He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Altman Peeples; his parents, Elliott McLean Peeples and Susan Marie Barnes Peeples; his daughter Betty Ann Peeples; and his brothers, Elliott Oswald Peeples and Charles Eugene Peeples.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Carroll Peeples (Edith Smith) of Hampton; his grandchildren, Lauren Peeples (David Smith) of Aiken, Megan Peeples of Lexington and Morgan Peeples of Aiken; his great grandchild Somers Smith of Aiken; and his sisters, Dorothy Peeples Henderson of Varnville and Frances Peeples DeLoach of Hampton.
All attendees are requested to wear a face mask and exercise proper social distance.
