She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Winstead; her parents, John E. Altman, Sr. and Iva Smith Altman; and her siblings, Don Altman (Shirley), John E. Altman, Jr. (Virginia), James Altman, Eunice Thomas (Guy) and Vernell Ulmer.
She is survived by: her son Danny Winstead (Iris) of North Charleston; and her brother-in-law Terry Ulmer of Hampton. She is also survived by three nephews and their families, and two grand nieces.
