She is survived by: her husband Tex Grover Simmons; and her sons, Rodney Grover Simmons (Robbin) of Austin and Carl Edison Simmons (Theresa) of Pelion. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless additional family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Hampton First Baptist Church (305 Oak St E, Hampton, SC 29924). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
