It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Gaynell Thomas Freeman (Hampton, South Carolina), who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quillie Thomas and Annie Heape Thomas; her husband James O. Freeman; and her son James Troy Freeman. She is survived by: her daughter Angie Altman; and her grandchildren, Heather Lawson "Jimmy" of Hampton, Gene Cook Jr. of Hampton, Fallon Smith "Derrick" of Hampton and Brittany Allison "Wesley" of Hampton. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
