She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Smith and Angie Stanley Smith; her husband William H. Brown; her daughter Roberta Cook; and her siblings, Lloyd Smith, Fred Smith, Margaret Smith, Evelyn Crapse, Shirley Long, Pauline Stanley and Harrison Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Brown (Maree) of Varnville, Wallace Brown of Yemassee and Betty Breland (Rodney) of Ruffin; her siblings, Franklin Smith of Grays, Elise Long of Nixville and Elaine Ginn (Benjamin) of Nixville; and her sister-in-law Judy Smith. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
