Chestnut, Jr. (Deborah) of Hamer and Ronald Chestnut (Denease Chestnut) of Hamer; his grandchildren, Chris Chestnut of Portland and Annette Chestnut of Marietta, NC; his great grandchild Morgan Hartzell of Marietta, NC; his sisters, Lena Mae George of Bennettsville and Madalene Atkinson; and his pet Snooty.
