She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Gillis and Betty Lou Severe Gillis. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Wayne Peterson; her daughter Elizabeth Peterson of Shelby; and her siblings, Jimmy of West Virginia, Wesley Gillis, Jr. of West Virginia and Kathy Ann Powell of Virginia.
