He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rogers and Lizzie Rogers; and his siblings, Hattie Graves, Carrie Bell Gause, Malachia Rogers and Canty Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Celestine Rogers; his children, Andrea Johnson (Kitt) of North Charleston and Tony Rogers (Davidette) of North Charleston; his grandchildren, Ta'shaun Rogers, Jaeda Rogers, Samaria Garner and Monique Garner; his siblings, Sadie Graves of Britton's Neck, Shirley Brown (Leroy) of Marion and John Rogers Jr.; and his close friend John Henry Moore of Britton's Neck. He is also survived by five sisters-in- law, two brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
