He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Winfield Bathgate and Emmanuel Bathgate; and his son Jeffrey Bathgate. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Spearing Bathgate; his sons, Joseph Bathgate (Mindy), James Bathgate (Christina) and Jon Bathgate (Leslie); and his brother Robert Bathgate (Gretchen) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
