He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Alford and Alice Mason Lemmons; his sons, Willard Leon Lemmons and Michael Dale Phillips; and his siblings, Clarence Lemmons, Harold Lemmons, Bobby Lemmons and Shirley Blackwell.

He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Lynn Wilson (Jimmy) of Piedmont; his grandchildren, Gaysha Amanda Thrasher and Wanda Alexander (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Haley Alexander, Katelyn Alexander, Hayven Alexander, Hayden Alexander, Shylan Thrasher and Connor Thrasher.
