It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Green (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Green and Pauline Christopher Green; his siblings, Olivia Cooper, Louise Davis, Doris Cox, James Green, John Perry and Charles Green; and his son-in-law Buzzy Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Lottie Joe Brannon Green; his children, Larry Green (Pam) of Lyman, Lynn Stewart of Greer and Mary Beth Wade of Greer; his brothers, Ray Green of Greer and Virgil Green of Simpsonville; and his grandchildren, David Green (Marcia), Matt Green (Sarah), Jeff Green (Ashley), Brad Ridings (Selena), Joey Stewart and Ashley Williams (Travis). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
