We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2023, at the age of 80, Velma Farmer (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tollie Edgar and Hattie Evington Farmer; and her siblings, Garold, Donald Farmer, Margaret Thomas, Avienell Wilder, Vallie Brewton and Peggy Fowler.

She is survived by: her siblings, Morris Farmer of Greer, SC and Wavie Lee Turner (Cecil) of Greer, SC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 572 Mount Lebanon Church Road, Greer, SC 29651.
