With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Bailey of Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Steve had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Steve may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Earl and Blanch Leonard Bailey. He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Clayman (Bruce) of Simpsonville, Kristen Johnson of Greer and Chelsea Hunter Bailey of Greer; and his siblings, Haskell Bailey (Beryl) of Greer and Tracie Bailey Penning of Greer. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
