He was predeceased by: his parents, Tullie Hancock and May Oneal Hancock; his wife Jane McKnight Hancock; and his siblings, Johnny Hancock, Jerry Hancock and Rosemary Hayman.
He is survived by: his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Dean Kunkel of Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
