It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brockman (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Pittman Jones, Charles Andrew Jones and Margaret Jones Loftis. She is survived by: her husband Wendell Kent Brockman, Sr.; and her children, Ruth Elaine Brockman of Greenville, Jane Brockman Zollinger (Markus) of Duncan and Wendell Kent Brockman, Jr. (Rita) of Greer. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
