She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel "Sam" Joseph Richards, Jr.; her parents, Johnny Powell and Myrtle Buchanan Powell; and her son Joseph Randall Richards. She is survived by: her children, Roger Noris Richards and Sharon R. Jordan of Greer; and her grandchildren, Lisa Carolina Richards, Jennifer Jordan Garner, Heather Richards Young, Jeremy Brent Jordan, Timothy Daniel Richards and Hilary Richards Thomas. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
