He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie Ables. He is survived by: his wife Louise Cogan Ables; his son B. J. Ables (Krystal) of Austin, Texas; and his brother Rudy Ables (Sonya) of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
