He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Sawyer Dobbins; and his siblings, Bill Dobbins and Bobbi Jean Gilliam. He is survived by: his children, Pam Green (Larry) of Lyman, Richard Phil Dobbins (Tammy) of Seneca and Tim Dobbins (Ronda) of Simpsonville; and his brother Douglas Wayne Dobbins (Ingrid) of Campobello. He is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Burnsview Baptist Church (9690 Reidville Rd, Greer, SC 29651).
