He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jennifer Harvey Gilstrap; his parents, Ronnie Dale and Carolyn Felmet Gilstrap of Wellford; his daughters, Ashley Greene (Ricky) and Amber Gilstrap; his sister Jennifer Wilson (Danny) of Wellford; and his grandchildren, Luke Greene and Ella Greene.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
