It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Praise Cathedral Church of Greer, South Carolina, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. A. Madden and Hattie Welborn Madden; and his siblings, Miriam Madden, Elmer Madden and Curtis Madden.

He is survived by: his sons, Reverend Thomas "Tom" A. Madden (Charla) and Reverend Jerry D. Madden (Jan). He is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
