She was predeceased by: her husband George Davis, Sr.; her parents, William A. Wooden and Geneva W. Wooden; her son Lee A. Evans; her siblings, Elizabeth Whiteside, Loretta Horton and Willie Lewis Wooden; and her grandchildren, Mario Foster and Kiah Davis.
She is survived by: her children, William A. Davis (Marva) of Gaffney, SC, G. Michael Davis (Beverly) of Inman, SC, Sarah L. Dawkins (Bishop) of Greer, SC, George Davis, Jr. (Susan) of Moore, SC and Lawrence Davis (Felecia) of Duncan, SC; her siblings, Laura Sherman of Greenville, SC, Betty Joe Sibley of Greer, SC and William Alexander Wooden (Carolyn) of Greenville, SC; and her family, Sasha and Coco.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. (927 E Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29651). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (109 Elmer St, Greer, SC 29651). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens (14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651).
