He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Mae Cox Dorman and Paul Manning Dorman I; and his brothers, George E. Dorman and Benjamin H. Dorman. He is survived by: his wife Lydia F. Dorman; his children, Michael D. Taylor, John W. Taylor (Jennifer) and Amanda M. Taylor Waldrop; his grandchildren, Allen Summers, Allison Summers, Corey Taylor, Maigen James (Chase), Sarah Taylor and Emily Taylor; his great grandchildren, Harrison Marioneaux and Rhyder McMurray; and his sister Diane Dorman.

Memorials may be made in honor of Paul to Apalache Baptist Church.
