She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Owen Milton Weatherly; her parents, Otis Odell and Minnie Atkins Sloan; and her grandchildren, Jessica Allyn Valle, Zachary Booth Valle and Franco Thomas Valle.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Weatherly Carter (Lee) of Hillsborough, Marcia Weatherly James (Jeff) of Jamestown and Jan Weatherly Valle (Paul) of New York; her sisters, Patsy Sloan Turner of Inman and Cheryl "Peachie" Sloan Smith of Lyman; her grandchildren, Jonathan Sloan Carter, Christa Carter Abedi, Melody James Pewitt and Justin Owen James; and her great grandchildren, Charles Owen Abedi, Saman Cyrus Abedi, Leila Myra Abedi, Lydia Elise Pewitt and Adalyn Brook Pewitt. She is also survived by her extended family, immediate family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
