She was predeceased by: her spouse Crayton Calvin Van Patton; her parents, Lee J. Holtzclaw, Sr. and Eula Sudduth Holtzclaw; her son Gary Van Patton; her grandson Jake Van Patton; and her siblings, Lucile Campbell, Lee J. Holtzclaw Jr., Frazier Holtzclaw and James T. Holtzclaw.
She is survived by: her son Steve Van Patton (Sharon) of Greer; her daughter-in-law Paula Van Patton of Greer; and her grandsons, Matthew Van Patton (Brandi), John Van Patton (Jennifer), Benjamin Van Patton (Amanda) and Jesse Van Patton (Jessica). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to a local charity in Mildred's name.
