With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Cantrell (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mildred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mildred farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley John Cantrell, Sr.; her parents, William Leland and Murphy Jane Holloway Saxon; and her brothers, Leland Baron Saxon and Billy James Saxon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gail Cunningham (Dan) of Taylors, S. John Cantrell, Jr. (Susan) of Pilot Mountain, Michael James Cantrell (Deborah) of Taylors and Marilyn Janice Myers (Ed) of Lake Marion; and her brother Randolph Jewell Saxon (Lois) of Taylors. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
