He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurlow Fowler and Anna Carrie Forrester Fowler; and his children, Holly D. Fowler and Paul E. Fowler. He is survived by: his children, Tammy A. Vaughn (Steve) of Belton, SC, Melissa A. Kern (Danny) of Greer, SC, Brad R. Fowler of Greenville, SC and Jerry M. Olmos of Greenville, SC.; his grandchildren, Bradley (Katie), Christian (Cody), Brittany (Kelsey), Jessica (Kobe), Brooke (Wyatt), Julianna (Jalen), Ashlynn and Madalynn; and his great grandchildren, Anslei, Tinslei, Liz, Jackson, Carter and Michael. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, Maryland 20852, honoring Mike's memory and his battle with kidney disease.
