He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Micthell Brown, Sr. and Doris Tate Brown; and his sister Dianne Brown Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynn Brown; his daughter Kristi Brown Harrington (Chad) of Greer; his grandchildren, Cooper and Greyson Harrington; and his nephew Mark McAtee of Greer.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
