He is survived by: his wife Doris Ballenger Ewell; his children, Traci Lancaster (Judson) of Brunswick, Georgia and Mark Ewell (Kumi) of Pelzer; his siblings, Joe Ewell (Edna) of Gray Court and Evelyn Hewitt (Walker) of Greer; his grandchildren, Drew Thomason, Austin Lancaster and Kimberly Lancaster; and his great grandchildren, Rosealynn Lancaster and Sabrina Thomason.
