He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Bates and Hazel Dean Reddick Mace; and his brother L. B. Mace, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Sue Williams Mace; his children, Angie LyKo (Greg) of Pelzer and Dean Mace (Amy) of Newton, NH; his sister Joyce Freeman of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Heather Smith, Braydon LyKo, Jack and KiKi Mace; and his great grandchildren, Sevin Smith, Harper and Hiette LyKo.
