She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren McKowen (Christopher) and Gladys Eleanor Ward Christopher; and her brothers, Wallace Ward, Dean Christopher and Jack Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, W. R. "Bobby" Barton, Jr. (Nini) and Cindy Godfrey (Shane); and her grandchildren, Brittany Damani (Travis), Lauren McGaha (Tim), Shelby Barton, Luke Barton, Pam Minkler (Kimberli), Chris Minkler (Carolyn) and Sheena Simpson (David). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
