We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2024, at the age of 83, Lucia Barton (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lucia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Eugene Turner, Sr. and Necie Hart Turner. She is survived by: her husband Stanley "Buddy" Barton; her siblings, Carl Eugene Turner, Jr. (Betty) of Piedmont and Wanda Turner Wolfe (James) of Taylors; her niece Necie Wald (Joshua); and her great-nephew Sullivan.
