He is survived by: his wife Sue Thomas Pierce; his stepson Shafek Hayek; his children, Brad Pierce of Anderson and Katheryn Kaminski of Virginia; his stepdaughters, Katey Cooley of Greer and Widad Hayek of Greenville; his stepdaughter-in-law Samantha Whiteneck; his brother Keith Pierce (Nancy) of Marion; and his grandchildren, Violet, Teddy and Finn.
