She was predeceased by: her husband John Edrie Brown; and her siblings, J. D. Owens, Russell Owens, Wayne Owens, Roger Owens, Harold Owens, Carolyn Babb and Debbie Owens.

She is survived by: her children, Shane Brown (Alice) of Greer and Allison B. Brockman of Wellford; her brothers, Hoss Owens and Clifford "Mule" Owens (Teresa) of Greer; and her grandsons, Patrick and Matthew.
