He was predeceased by: his father Homer Mixon; and his siblings, Royce and Joyce. He is survived by: his daughters, Ann Mixon Doyon (Jeff) of Arlington, VA and Lyn Mixon Thompson (Tommy) of Greer, SC; and his grandchildren, Josh of Arlington, VA, Andrew Doyon of Arlington, VA, Cory Thompson (Caroline) of Columbia, SC and Heather Thompson of Greer, SC.
