He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Michelle Honyoust Chappell; his children, John Robert Chappell, Michael Thomas Chappell of Laconia, Benjamin Watkins Chappell of Greer and Joy Ribble Chappell of Greer; and his siblings, Daniel Chappell (Hoang) of Vallejo, California, Constance Horne (Jim) of Henrico and Margaret Wilder (Alan) of Riverton, Wyoming..
