He is survived by: his wife Ardith Hipps Clontz Brown of Canton; his children, Connie Wingler of Virginia, Sherita Clontz of Canton, Selina Mestanza (Daniel) of Mills River and Christopher Clontz (Christina) of Maryland; his siblings, James David Brown of Waynesville, Anita Brown Cullen (Mike) of Waynesville and Donna Brown Willett (Chris) of Waynesville; and his aunt Margaret Shelton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; close cousins; and many friends.
