He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Ray Long. He is survived by: his wife Martha Long (Lennon); his children, Curtis Long (Amanda Long) and Sara Johnson (Jeremiah Johnson); his mother Betty H. Long of Travelers Rest, SC; his siblings, Dennis M. Long of Fountain Inn, SC and Julie M. Long of Marietta, SC.; and his grandchildren, Evan Long, Erin Long, Emma Long, Emily Long, Harrison Johnson, Lillian Johnson and Carly Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Remembrance Chapel in Woodlawn Memorial Park (1901 Wade Hampton Blvd, Greenville, SC 29609). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made in John's memory to Wings of Eagles Ranch of Concord, NC, or Christ Classical School of Charlotte, NC.
