He was predeceased by: his parents, Starling Tolliver and Gertrude Hayes Bragg; his children, Michael, Wayne Bragg and Barbara Ann Bell; and his brothers, Lloyd Bragg and Boyd "Bud" Bragg.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Self Bragg; his children, Carolyn Cook of Atlanta, Calvin Bragg, Jr. of Woodruff, Jack S. Bragg of Conestee and Dianne Bragg of Hendersonville; and his sisters, Doris "Cookie" Tennison of Myrtle Beach, Audrey Snow and Shirley Williams. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
