He was predeceased by: his father John Andrew Bindewald; and his brother Paul Davis Bindewald. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kellett Bindewald; his mother Marie Bindewald; his sons, John Andrew "Andy" Bindewald, III (Kate) and Ben Bindewald (Jill); his granddaughters, Becca and Hannah Bindewald; and his siblings, Jeanne Marie Smith (Ralph Schindler), Carol Anne Gosnell (David), Ray Bindewald, Sarah Bales (Lee), Kathy Young (Tony) and Jim Bindewald (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
