Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joe leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Homer and Ruth Green Bearden; his son-in-law Dan Hembree; and his siblings, Virginia B. Dearolf, Robert H. Bearden, Jr. and Marshall G. Bearden.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Campbell Bearden; his children, Janice B. Hembree and Joseph "Joey" M. Bearden, Jr. (Mary Ann Bearden); and his son-in-law Henry Bloomingburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
