She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Hine Mertz, Jr.; and her parents, Joseph Francis and Marion Cullen Conley. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia "Cyndi" Ann Cerutti (Marc) of Duncan and Dr. Tracie Mertz McConnell (Tim) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Aubrey Keffer and Sydney Keffer.
