He was predeceased by: his sister Violet Black. He is survived by: his wife Annie Pearl Campbell Duncan of Spartanburg; his children, Jimmie R. Duncan, Jr. (Cynthia) of Irving, Texas and Joy Duncan Kutt (Kevin) of Greer; his siblings, Hiram "Bud" Duncan of Greer, Phyllis Nelson of California and Emily Cox (Edward) of Gray Court; his grandchildren, Jacob Kutt (Jennifer) of Taylors, Sarah Kutt of Bowling Green, Joshua Kutt of Greer, Daniel Kutt of Greer and Joel Duncan of Irving, Texas; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Kutt, David Kutt, Bethany Kutt, Nathaniel Kutt and Rebekah Kutt; and his brother-in-law John Black of Greer.

Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice House, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303, in honor of Jimmie Duncan.
