We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2022, at the age of 86, Jewell Wood (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Linton and Hattie Rodgers Moon; her son Vernon Howard Wood; her siblings, Clarence Moon, John Moon, Clyde Moon, Raymond Moon, Nellie Gwinn, Earlene Link and Attie Sue Moon; and her great grandchildren, Presley Wood and Avery Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Reginald Dean Wood (Margaret) of Lyman and Allison Hutto of Charlotte; her brother Homer Moon of Greer; her grandchildren, Michael Wood, Michelle Williams (Brian) and Matthew Jones (Candy); and her great grandchildren, Noah Wood, Jonah Wood, Grayson Wood and Zakkary Jones.
